Wooden 8-bit Video Game Pixel Art
Jeff Swenty writes about 8 Bit Wood, his homemade wooden pixel art project: "I work in the videogame industry and I thought what better way to pay homage to my favorite games than to cut out thousands of little blocks of wood, stain them, glue them together, seal them and then hang the result on the wall."
HD video of Apache helicopter crash landed in Singapore
I find it kind of amusing (and shocking) that one of our Apache attack helicopters crash landed in an open field at Woodlands Ave 6 yesterday after it encountered engine problems. From the HD video here, you can see that the tail section of the chopper was completely ripped apart! Amazing!

Padnote looks like the iPad but is a paper notepad
Similar to the Notepod, the Padnote looks just like the iPad and both are paper notepads. Each page of the Padnote has gridlines and a wide gray border. I think you can only get this over in Japan. The company that makes it also plans to release a memo pad that looks like an Apple iPhone.

Plumen is the designer energy saving light bulb
The folks behind the Plumen Project thought that if they make their energy saving light bulb more attractive, people will then spend a bit more and enjoy a better quality of light and a design they appreciate every day. Rather than hide the unappealing traditional compact fluorescent light behind boring utility, the Plumen is a bulb you’ll want on show.

Exclusive Pics from inside of Redbull's F1 Pit Garage
On Thursday evening, I was given a tour of Redbull's Pit Garage at the Singapore Grand Prix courtesy of LG, a global partner and sponsor of the F1. LG is also a sponsor of the Redbull F1 team. Here are the exclusive photos taken from inside the Redbull garage.
Engineers and mechanics fixing Sebastian Vettel's car. As you can see, they have yet to attach the wheels.
Here's Mark Webber's car. Besides the wheels, there are still some parts of the car that are not fixed.
A close-up of the mechanics at work.
And here's where the Red Bull team manager and co sit during the race.
It was quite an experience (and what a privilege!) to be inside the Redbull Pit Garage and to learn so many things about the team and their cars, etc. I'll be back at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday.
Yeah, VIP baby! VIP! Thanks LG and Redbull!
UPDATE: Here's R3LOAD Network's exclusive video, Inside the Redbull Pit Garage.

Heesa posts the entire playlist of the jukebox found in Johnny Rockets, a popular American restaurant: "I have always wanted a playlist of their jukebox music. I searched and couldn’t find a good list so I sat down at the counter with a pad of paper and pen and wrote down everything they had in there." It's amazing how many of these songs I can sing to. Guess I'm old.
